Ingredients
150g Butter
50g Caster Sugar
4tbsp Golden Syrup
275g Rolled Oats

Flapjacks

Set oven to 180 degrees.
Gently melt the Butter, Sugar and Golden Syrup in a pan.
Take off the heat and add Rolled Oats.
Mix well and turn out into a square lined 20cm cake tin.
Bake for 20mins.
While still warm cut into portions and allow to cool.
Makes approximately 15 Bars.

Ingredients
2 cups (225g) 8oz flour
2 teaspoons ground ginger
2 teaspoons baking powder
4oz (100g) margarine
1/2 cup (100g) 4oz sugar
1/2 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda (baking soda) dissolved in 1 teaspoon hot water
2 large tablespoons golden syrup (substitute light corn syrup), warmed

Ginger Biscuits

Set oven to 200 degrees.
Place the sifted flour, ginger, baking powderand margarine into a bowl and combine.
Add the sugar, bicarbonate of soda mixture and syrup, and work into a dough.
Take tea spoons of mixture and roll inmto balls.
Place on a greased baking sheet.
Bake for 10-15 minutes until golden brown.
Makes around 12 biscuits.

  Ginger biscuits
 
Ingredients
4oz (100g) Softened Butter.
1 Heaped tablespoons Peanut Butter.
4oz (100g) Caster Sugar.
3oz (75g) Brown Sugar.
1 Egg.
1/2tsp Vanilla Essence.
4oz (100g) Plain Flour.
4oz (100g) Porridge Oats.
1 tsp Baking Powder. ¼ tsp Salt.
6oz (175) Chocolate Chips.

Oaty Chocolate Chip and Peanut Butter Biscuits

Set oven to 180 degrees.
Cream the butter, peanut butter and sugars in a large bowl.
Beat in the egg and vanilla essence.
Add the flour, oats, baking powder and salt.
Mix well.
Stir in chocolate chips.
Take heaped teaspoons of the mixture and roll into balls, flatten slightly and place onto parchment paper placed on baking trays.
Space the dough well as they need room to spread.
Bake at 180 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes until lightly browned.
Makes around 25 biscuits.
